Visiting the Canberra District wine
regions is easy. Most wineries are less than an hour’s
drive from Canberra city, and many are easy to reach
from the Sydney to Canberra highway.
You can take one of the many winery tours to meet the
winemakers, see the vineyards and taste the wines, or

Clubs
There is a wide
range of clubs in Canberra. These include community clubs, social clubs,
sporting clubs and ethnic clubs. A small number are "invitation only" and have
relatively high membership fees. However, most Clubs in Canberra warmly welcome
everyone to membership and most of these Clubs have very nominal membership fees
(say $12 a year for a family).
The larger Clubs
provide a range of eating facilities (restaurants, cafes, etc) at very
inexpensive prices and a wide range of entertainment suitable for the
family.
